Terms & Conditions

ShipShop — multi-courier shipping aggregator for India  ·  Last updated: 18 July 2026

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ShipShop website, dashboard, APIs, and mobile apps (together, the "Platform" or "Service") operated by ShipShop at shipshop.in. ShipShop is a technology aggregator that lets Indian sellers compare rates across multiple licensed couriers, book shipments, pay from a prepaid wallet, collect and reconcile Cash-on-Delivery, and track deliveries to completion. By creating an account, connecting a store, topping up a wallet, or booking a shipment, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1.Acceptance of the Terms

These Terms form a binding agreement between you (the "Merchant", "User", or "you") and ShipShop ("ShipShop", "we", "us", or "our"). They apply to every person who accesses the Service in any role — merchant/seller, sub-user, franchise partner, agency, affiliate, delivery agent, or administrator.

5.The Service — aggregator, not a carrier

ShipShop is a shipping aggregator and technology intermediary. We let you compare courier rates, book shipments, generate labels, capture pickups, collect COD, and track deliveries from a single dashboard. ShipShop is not a courier, carrier, or logistics operator and does not itself transport, handle, or deliver any parcel.

What this means for you The actual pickup, line-haul, and last-mile delivery of every Shipment are performed by the licensed courier you select at the time of booking. Physical custody of goods, carriage terms, service levels, and delivery performance are the responsibility of that courier. ShipShop books the courier on your behalf and provides the software layer that orchestrates the process.

We may add, remove, or change available couriers, features, and pricing at any time. We do not guarantee the continued availability of any particular courier, route, or serviceable pincode.

6.Wallet & payments

ShipShop operates on a prepaid wallet model. You top up your Wallet in advance, and freight and fees are debited from it.

8.COD collection & remittance

For Cash-on-Delivery Shipments, the courier collects the parcel value from your recipient on delivery and the collected COD is remitted to your Wallet.

10.Prohibited & restricted goods

You must not ship anything that is illegal, hazardous, or barred by the selected courier or by applicable law. Prohibited and restricted items include, without limitation:

Your responsibility You are solely responsible for the contents, packaging, labelling, and legality of every Shipment. Shipping prohibited or restricted goods is a serious breach that may result in seizure or destruction by the courier or authorities, penalties, immediate suspension or termination, and reporting to law-enforcement — with no liability to ShipShop.

11.Courier SLAs & liability vs. ShipShop's role

Because ShipShop is an intermediary and not the carrier, service levels and liability for the physical Shipment rest with the courier:

See also the Limitation of liability section below.
