Terms & Condition
Shipshop courier service is serving the purpose of providing the service to its clients by delivering parcels and documents to numerous destinations. So, here are the terms and conditions that you have to follow while availing our services.
- Our delivery timing will be between 10:00 am to 6:00 pm (Special deliveries are exceptional). In case if we fail to deliver you with your parcel or document due to unavailability, we will make a second attempt to deliver your next day. In case if our management declares any holiday we will not deliver during that day.
- The service seeker will receive the acknowledgment slip of individual documents within three days, once the delivery is done.
- In the case of P.O. Box address, we will not deliver the documents. The consignee or the person who is authorized to receive the order will get the acknowledgment in their respective address. Once the consignee gets the parcel he or she has to sign in to receive the parcel. We will consider that as P.O.D. (Proof of delivery) and we assume that the consignee received the intact parcel/document. After that, if the consignee does any claim, we will not entertain it.
- It will be Shipshop's decision to opt for any type of transportation. The purpose of choosing transportation will be to provide you with quicker delivery. Shipshop has no authority to return or 'hold' documents in transit due to explicit purposes, in case any issues arise between the customers and their service seekers.
- In case, if the document remains undelivered on the address of the consignee due to his or her absence or unavailability of the premise, we will leave an intimation in the prescribed form, which will convey the consignee to receive the parcel/document. The next day, we will make another attempt to deliver you with your parcel/document. This time if the same situation arises we have to return this parcel to The Service Seeker.
- We work on the basis of a monthly contract. And in that case, we go for one pick up each day. If there are any additional pickups, the Service Seeker has to visit the service center of Shipshop and depute a representative. For that, he or she has to show all the relevant documents. If the documents are in bulk quantity they have to reach the service center by 12:00. That will assure the next day delivery. In case, if the documents have a load more than 200, the Service Seeker has to pay in a cheque for the entire load. And they have to pay during the time of pick up.
- Customers have to mention the parcel weight and size accurately. When the difference in weight and size is over 10%, customers have to take the responsibility. They will also pay the penalty.
- Shipshop has the authority to change and modify the terms and conditions from time to time according to the requirement. Also, if we introduce any new service, we have the right to change, cancel or amend the terms and conditions or any of the clauses.
- In COD order if order amount less then 2500RS then 50RS, amount between 2500RS - 5000RS then 2% of COD amount and above 5000RS then 1% order amount + fixed 100RS applied.
Our T&Cs are applicable only to Surat jurisdiction. Thus, to file any case, you have to appeal the court in Surat. According to the rules of India Post, while any penalty is imposed, customers have to pay the charge, including the fees of lawyer.
